About Helena Kolan
All but destined to be a professional wedding dress designer, Helena Kolan fell in love with being a seamstress early on in life. At first, she drew dresses when she was only 5 years old and then she took over her grandma’s sewing machine.
Gifted a sewing machine as a little girl, she practiced over and over again expressing her creativity in every stitch. And in that practice, she found that creating something truly beautiful began with creating something completely original. That brought her to sewed her first clothes at the age of 12.
It was this passion that ignited her spirit for dress design and led to her first real wedding dress-making opportunity at just 17. At the request of a friend getting married, she fashioned an elegant dress design that further drove her to really embrace the career she now yearned for.
Her path towards launching Helena Kolan Bridal Couture was never in question from that point on.
She graduated from Shekar’s Department of Fashion Design and Industrial Engineering, and then dedicated the next years towards learning the end-to-end dress design and creation process for brides from every corner of the world. This hands-on education was an experience that not only allowed her to design and develop stunning dresses, but to ensure her clients were met with exceptional quality and unmitigated support.
Today her wedding gown boutique in Tel Aviv not only offers one of the most exclusive dresses collections all over the country, but they’re also sold worldwide such as: London, Hong-Kong, USA – there you can find her Flagship wedding dresses store in the heart of SoHo, New-York, Germany and more.
